A2 Question about start time

My teachers always said, there is no such thing as a dumb question so here goes. What is with the start time of this race? TV says 7:30, but at A1, there were signs all over the gates about the start time being 6:30. Is there a tape delay or is there an hour of hoopla for the 40th anniversary thing. The Saturday schedule/evening program poster doesnt match up. My DVR has missed too many races over things like this, hence the question. Thx
