1. It was 150.00 bucks to park a motorhome, 170.00 to park a trailer and tailgate. This is simply outta control. Usually the south lot is full of people hanging out and enjoying a day of racing, not this time. Congrats to Anaheim stadium for killing a great tradition.
2. Tickets were 90.00 bucks for club level. I could deal with if the following weren't true....
3. The pa system absolutely sucked last night. From our section no one could hear or understand anything that was said, we resorted to trying to decipher what was said by trying to read lips on the screen, akin to watching a bad Kung Fu movie....
4. The opening ceremonies went on and on.... Longer in duration than all the heat races combined. They tried to stretch out the show by doing interviews in between the heats.... A waste since we couldn't hear what was said anyway.
5. The actual racing was boring. If it hadn't been such a snoozed the above wouldn't have mattered as much. You had to look way back in the pack to see any actual racing...
6. The only real interesting part was watching to see how far Alessi would drop back after a decent start....
Ohh well, there is always next week..... And pulp mx tomorrow night....
