In reflex...any one notice the bikes that float or bunny hop or mysteriously crash and then wind up in front of you some how. Guys run over the bayles in corners and then float right back on to the track not missing a beat....please tell me I'm not the only one that has seen this happen.

its lag dude, your xbox is a few hundredths of a second behind theirs so it can't keep up with what they're doing - thinks they've crashed as it didn't get the 'turn' update in time then gets corrected and drags them back onto the straightaway... I normally see it happen when someone rails the very outside of a corner in sx.

The few people like me that imported the game and are playing it from miles away probably aint helping the situation Wink

Yeah its happened to me, sometimes the gate drops and their are people already 14 seconds ahead of me. Its just crazy lag and bad connections. I think it is on the Reflex server end of things. I have a great connection and can play any other online game fine. It seems like they had a budget of $100 for the online gameplay.

I race them all the time, and I'll be honest, I usually place top 3 out of all the riders. Not just the 12 in your room, but the 400 that signed up. I'm guessing your son got in a room with one of the faster guys. Got any names?

Oh and by the way, Steveo and Russell are right. First of all, the online play for this game is absolutely horrible. Why they can't seem to get online figured out is beyond me. Xbox live has been around for how long now? They can't seem to get everyone synced up, and it is causing all the floating, bouncing, going over corners, getting taken out by someone you didn't even know was there bullcrap. And don't get me started on the races starting at different times.

Yes nothing worse than getting bitch slapped by a lager, how are the tourney's going how can they score it fair when Reflex can't even add lap time correctly?? Last one I raced was a joke.

Rainbow games have always had poor MP code, back since MCM1 even if you raced over LAN with 0ms ping there was still a fairly big delay.

What made MCM2 a lot better online was it had the option to turn player collision off, I don't think any of the newer titles since have had such a option
