Does anyone feel the same way I feel about the way you connect to others to play online in Reflex?
I mean it's almost a joke the way they have this setup, you get no functionality (from what I can see) as far as selecting a specific track, laps, how many people you play with, when to "Ready Up", and when the race actually starts.
I would also want to host a race and have other riders be able to join without getting an invite from me and see me hosting this race - like untamed!!
It seems as if ALL of this is automatic UNLESS you have friends online playing and you can create your own Private Race.
I used to play online with MCM2 and the functionality blows this out of the water, I mean is technology going backwards? Also, Untamed was even a little bit better than this, at least you got to choose what track you wanted to play and let people know in the "lobby, compound" that you were ready to play OR if you wanted to wait for more players you could.
Every time I have raced online when it wasn't with friends on a Private Race, I have raced 3 laps and had no idea what track I was playing (until you see it in the compound billboard) and also just waited in the compound until it automatically started.
This whole concept needs to be changed. It really is a bummer when you have such an amazing MX game and you drop the ball for online play...
