Just some suggestions off the cuff if it doesn't sort itself out - if you have a 360 try unplugging and then re-plugging the hard drive, exit and then sign back into your user profile. If that doesn't work then as a last resort you could try deleting all dlc Alive files from your hard drive and then download it all over again (though that might be risky).
Nordic Games seems to be systematically working through their recently acquired library of THQ games, trying to figure out what to do with them and if there are any issues. Last night an official said the company would be looking into the status of servers for two of the MX games and the whereabouts of missing promised DLC.
"Thanks for your interest in this great racing game series!" Reinhard Pollice, business and product development director at Nordic Games, wrote in the thread created for discussion about the series. "MX vs. ATV is so far the franchise where we have most problems understanding certain things that happened like servers and shops being shut down. Was there any announcement on that?"
According to fans posting in the thread, the matchmaking and lobby servers for MX vs. ATV Reflex, the Rainbow Studios developed game released in 2009, were shut down about three weeks ago. The online store for purchasing additional downloadable content for MX vs. ATV Alive, the game released in 2011, is no longer fully functioning, according to several people posting in the forum.
Fans also noted that promised downloadable content for Alive was never delivered. Some of it, a few fans believe, was actually created but simply hasn't been released yet.
Pollice asked for more details about both the servers and the unfinished DLC and promised that the company would be looking into both issues once "we finally got our hands on all the data."
He also noted, in response to a question in the forums, that along with the MX vs. ATV IP, Nordic Games also picked up the rights to 2XL Games developed Baja: Edge of Control.....
i read that may 13th or after...servers should be working again....
woah... wait a second!
what happened to 2XL? 2XL is made up of some of the genius minds from MCM, MCM2, MX Unleashed... Baja was a sick game.
i never heard anything about that franchise going under?
