Kx250f fork swap

As far as what I know, 2006-2012 are 47mm SFF forks and 2013-current are 48mm SFF forks. The older 06-12 forks will work if you swap out the clamps. I recommend having your forks anodized. Its probably the safest way to achieve the look your going for without buying a set of junk forks.

I have a set of Gold 2013 SFF forks but the top tubes have some some damage from a Cycra stadium plate.

Put on some KYB SSS coming from yamaha.
You also need the yamaha wheel.
And you’re done. Bike is better & hotter.

11-19 kx250f are Sff- spring. 05-10 kx250f are showa twin chamber. I think kx450 was kyb up till 12. 13/14 psf I believe 15-18 went sff-air. I personally put 09 triples/forks on my 15 (same as 16). Front wheels/axel are the same from 09-15/16 for sure. Get 08-10 showa with triples or get a pair of aftermarket 22mm offset for the year of the forks, streering stem and bearings are the same. Personally the sff spring are shit. Super harsh in braking bumps, drive on decel, then push in corner. I had them sent out to FC and never found any comfort with them

I would think the same thing forks didn't change. I just know with within kawi they kept alot the same so like same front axle means lugs stayed the same. I will tell you guys I picked up a 2020 for $5687 OTD may be worth trading her in or buying one and selling the other.... especially with a 17-19 alot of the bolt ons will go on the 20
