With Star I think you could have spent more time on the JCoop success idea more than him having just 1 championship because he fought for multiple and the fact that he’s now 3rd in points for them in the 450 above a lot of top and injured riders plus his performance in the des nations.

Bennick may have been a handshake deal but he was the horizon award winner as the most promising amateur and is flying during the week so once the Deegan train and hype leaves it makes sense he’d be less intimidated to do better on the weekend not as the 2nd guy.  

Whether bike or rider the 250’s are having more mixed results.  I think it shows how deeper field of talent is and closer pace.  The bad start idea or we can work with speed applies to most riders except a few who can pass most of the other guys.  Deegan has been the standout but it’s been with crashes and higher risk and he’s been lucky to not get hurt.

I will be curious as you to see who steps up once Deegan moves up between injuries or inconsistent results.  Like you explained most of the teams and riders aren’t pressing for wins every week and I am not quick to blame them.  It’s a tough sport especially if they can run a similar pace.
