The Arlington round was this year's Military Appreciation round and we'll get into some more cool bikes farther into the feature.

With the cold conditions, many teamss waited for things to warm up before going into their full setups. Nice opportuinity for us to snag a few shots of some clean rigs.

We're getting close to the end of TLD's eight rounds of showing off the new Ducati. When is the next time we'll see this rig? Possibly a few Pro Motocross Nationals...
ML5 4482
Detroit is in the rear view mirror but still causing a mess for most...
0Q6A2994
The Rockstar Energy Husqvarna team's hardware.
0Q6A2998
Stopping by the Dunlop truck early enogh to see what takes offs they have is always interesting. Getting an idea of what teams are using at the moment.

Heaters aplenty in the Dunlop pits. Can you imagine changing a bunch of 20 degree tires? Yeah, no thanks.
0Q6A3008
Can we get some scrambled eggs with those pancakes?

Do you know how many of these I lost when I had a team...
0Q6A3052
The full enclosures take a while to setup, but when it's this cold out it really helps keep the wind chill out and trap the heat in if you have a propane heater going.
0Q6A3054
Biggest bug zapper ever?

First up is Ken Roczen's Progressive Insurance/Ecstar Suzuki. This came and jet inspired layout was designed by SKDA.

When you don't have proper fork warmers, you improvise. Nothing like some heating pads from Wal-Mart.
0Q6A3063.jpg?VersionId=9fzIF4mAvyMttVTY0AGDGIoIZ
At the truck next door was the Twisted Tea version on Chisholm and Nichols' rides.
0Q6A3066
0Q6A3068
Again, improvise. Also, why do teams warm the forks at cold venues? Supercross shocks come up to temperature quite quickly. The forks however can use the heat to bring the oil up to temperature and keep the damping consistent across the opening laps. If the oil is too cold, the damping character could act quite sluggish...

SKDA was also responsible for the Muc-Off/FXR/ClubMX Yamaha YZ250Fs.

Vented plates have made a strong comeback, and I'm here for it.
0Q6A3085
It's the little details...

Hello steering damper.
ML5 4965
The team re-used some gunmetal gray rims that Dubya did for them last year. It worked pretty well.

The rivet WW2 plane vibe was perfect for the monochrome brand.

Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki's KX250 will look quite similar to the Factory team's 450 you'll see later in the feature. Even though they use different graphics companies, they went with a similar design overall.

Marchbanks runs his bar mounts in the forward position and a bit taller bend than most of his teammates. Not surprising with the rider's larger frame in mind.

Did we mention it was cold?

Probably the winner for most imaginative graphics scheme goes to team Honda HRC Progressive and Throttle Jockey. Take a minute to really look over Shimoda's machine in the next few photos.

What's the cluster next to the OEM kill switch? It's GET's SX1 controller unit. HRC has made the full switch to GET in 2025.

Clean data ports.
ML5 5074
The HRC right-side engine cover has different oil ports above the oil filter. This is to mount lines for an oil cooler come outdoors.

Between their pro and amateur effort, the SLR team has quite a few bikes in the pits.
ML5 5086
Red bull KTM went with a subtle came look, as we usually see from the brand.

ML5 5147

How are the slots cut out in the airbox lid for the Factory Kawasaki team? Water jet.
ML5 5181
Now that's cool.
ML5 5435
Beta went colorful on their camo.
