Check out the latest GP Bits from Teutschenthal, the German Grand Prix.

Teutschenthal is an interesting track and quite tight/small compared to modern venues...but it always offers big and exciting moments. Juan Pablo

Triumph's MX2 effort looks somewhat similar to its' USA effort, but is equipped with a few tricker items. Juan Pablo

While the US effort is using KYB, their forks have a very standard spring fork look. The MX2 team has the fork cap we've the Factory Yamaha team have for the hybrid fork. We believe the Triumph MX2 effort is on a spring fork but this allows them to adjust high and low-speed compression, low-speed compression, and control air pressure for an air-assist fork in the the team would like. Juan Pablo

CRM has a few trick parts on the bike, such as this over-sized fuel tank. Juan Pablo
Place Holder
Billet KYB lugs. Juan Pablo
Place Holder
Brembo works brakes. Juan Pablo
Place Holder
The Brembo rear brakes don't have the rear sight glass, instead having a machined Brembo logo. Juan Pablo
Place Holder
The MX2 Triumph team uses a custom CRM carbon fiber airbox and subframe combo. Juan Pablo
Place Holder
A little extra ventalation. Juan Pablo
Place Holder
Drool... Juan Pablo
Place Holder
The sideplate venting on the left side is interesting. Juan Pablo
Place Holder
While the US team uses a shock that is close to the production style, the MX2 team uses a works-style shock with a larger compression adjuster and a machined body. This shock is legal in MXGP/MX2 but isn't legal in the US 250 rule set. This is because a consumer can't buy one and it's not possible to sell for under the maximum allowed price in that class. Juan Pablo
Place Holder
Hmm, chain looks a lil snug. Juan Pablo
Place Holder
Haruup in action. Juan Pablo
Place Holder
Tim Gajser always lays it down in Teutschenthal and this one is all time... Juan Pablo

Geezus... Juan Pablo

And some bar drag action. Juan Pablo

Andrea Bonacorsi's Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MXGP YZ450FM. Juan Pablo
Place Holder
The top motor mounts are flat cut then have a spacer added to them to reach the cylinder head. We saw Dylan Ferrandis test this last year in the US. Juan Pablo
Place Holder
Curious to see what Yamaha does with Andrea Bonacorsi for 2024. He's clearly a bit too big for the 250 but when healthy they have as stacked MXGP squad... Juan Pablo
Place Holder
We also wonder when we'll see this GYTR branded filter cover with intake scoops go up for sale. Juan Pablo
Place Holder
Just a little extra traction in the center of his Blackbird seat cover. Juan Pablo
Place Holder
The seat is also slightly thicker than stock and a carbon fiber fuel tank from CRM is equipped. Juan Pablo
Place Holder
The front motor mounts are also different with what appears to be a large aluminum mount on top of a thin steel mount. Juan Pablo
Place Holder
Long wheelbase. Juan Pablo
Place Holder
Kemea was the operator of Yamaha's MX2 effort but moved to MXGP this year to replace Wilvo. Juan Pablo
Place Holder
Bonacorsi chasing his teammate Calvin Vlaanderen as the rain comes down. Andrea Bonacorsi has some wide shoulders. Juan Pablo
Place Holder
Jorgde Prado in action. Juan Pablo
Place Holder
Hello air fork. Juan Pablo
Place Holder
Prado continues to go 1-1 when it isn't a mud race. He will have the red plate entering the next round as he retakes the points lead by two over Tim Gajser. Juan Pablo
Place Holder
Simon Langenfelder is German and had a little home flavor for the German GP. Juan Pablo
Place Holder
Gavin Towers made his European debut for VRT Yamaha, going 6-3 for fifth overall. Juan Pablo
Place Holder
Towers commented that he had a limited amount of motocross prep in general due to the Supercross program he was on with Star Racing. He will race the remaining of the EMX250 schedule with some outings in MX2. Juan Pablo
Place Holder
Andrea Adamo's Red Bull KTM Factory Racing 250 SX-F. Juan Pablo

Their data logger also features a built-in RPM display for the starts. Juan Pablo

Along with the older-spec factory axle size which is larger than production. We believe it's 25mm instead of 22mm? Juan Pablo
Place Holder
The MX2 and MXGP effort still uses Kite hubs while the US team switched to a new D.I.D. hub for 2024. Juan Pablo
Place Holder
Full split-style triple clamps and an air fork. Juan Pablo
Place Holder
Simple controls, no traction control, map switches, etc. Just a kill switch on the left side. Juan Pablo
Place Holder
With a starter button on the right. Juan Pablo
Place Holder
The MXGP KTM team has a few interesting sponsors we don't see on the US side such as Ram trucks, Brisk, and Milwaukee tools. Juan Pablo

MXGP's weather is starting to remind me of our Supercross season from 2024... Juan Pablo
Place Holder
Yes, someone had a full Swiss/Jeremy Seewer flag made up. European fans are into it. Juan Pablo
Place Holder
Fox debuted their latest LE kit in Europe with the Nestaan team. Juan Pablo
Place Holder
Kay de Wolf maintains the points lead and the red plate but the gap remained the same to Coenen at 59 points.  Juan Pablo

Austria has gotten back to their dominate ways in MX2. See you all at the next GP. Juan Pablo
