Kawasaki held a Supercross Kickoff in their Irvine, CA, headquarters to introduce all of their '07 teams to their employees, as well as unveiling the '07 team bike, with its new Monster Energy livery. Monster's presence with Kawasaki has extended from the Pro Circuit camp to all of Kawasaki's professional racing efforts.

For 2007 you can also look for an increased green presence on the track. In addition to their usual two-rider factory team of James Stewart and Tim Ferry, they also have three additional support teams.

First up is the four-rider Motosport Kawasaki crew, which will race in the Lites class, and consists of Kyle Chisholm and Steve Boniface in the West coast, and rookie Matt Boni as well Bob Kiniry in the East.

The Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki squad will be mounted aboard Mitch Payton's potent KX250Fs once again, and features Lites MX National Champ Ryan Villopoto, and Chris Gosselaar in the West (with MX2 World Champ Christophe Pourcel making an appearance with the team during the first several rounds). Brett Metcalfe and Ben Townley (who was training at home in Florida) will be handling the East coast duties.

There will be an additional two KX450s on the gate this year, with Billy Whitely's Cernic's Kawasaki two-rider team that consists of Jeff Gibson and Paul Carpenter.
