Top 10: Seattle 1

Ryan Villopoto grabbed his fifth win of the '14 Monster Energy Supercross season in Seattle, but it wasn't all easy. He had to work his way through the semi, which made for a gate pick that wasn't optimal. But he nailed the start, and from there, it was his show. That's one step closer to another title (his fourth straight). Let's run through the Top 10 in both classes.

10. Mike Alessi (Smartop MotoConcepts Racing) copped a top ten for the weekend, and he has a shot at finishing in the top ten for the season.

9. Josh Hill (RCH Racing Soaring Eagle) put in an amazing ride to take a win in his semi, where he wheelied through the whoops, and turned the track into a playground, but it was ninth in the main for him this week.

8. Andrew Short (BTO Sports/KTM) slipped a bit from his position early in the main, but as you can see, he had some heavy-duty company around him.

7. Ken Roczen (Red Bull KTM) is going plenty fast (as evidenced by the practice times), but seems to have lost a bit of the spark that he had early in the season.

6. Trey Canard (Team Honda Muscle Milk) put on a serious charge to go from 15th at the end of lap one, to sixth at the end.

5. Justin Barcia (Team Honda Muscle Milk) moved forward throughout the main, after starting in ninth spot.

4. Eli Tomac (GEICO Honda) started out in seventh spot, but moved his way up to fourth at the finish. Alessi, Roczen, and Short were the riders he went by.

3. Ryan Dungey (Red Bull KTM) got off to a quick start, and was in second for the first three laps before giving way to James Stewart.

2. James Stewart (Yoshimura Suzuki Factory Racing) put on his best charge to try and catch Ryan Villopoto, but mistakes and a pretty "simple" track didn't help his cause. He had to settle for the second tonight.

1. Ryan Villopoto (Monster Energy Kawasaki) did his part in trying to wrap up the 2014 Monster Energy Supercross 450 title by winning in front of his home crowd in Seattle, but is now just a mere two points away from mathematically eliminating everyone else from contention, and we've only got two rounds left. He'll try and wrap it up at the Meadowlands in two weeks.

That takes care of the 450 class. Now let's check in on the 250s, and the next-to-last round of the 250 West series. Only Las Vegas remains for these guys. Dean Wilson snagged the holeshot to start this one.

10. Shane McElrath (Troy Lee Designs/Lucas Oil/Honda) suffered a nasty crash in his heat race, but still came home with a top ten for the night.

9. Malcolm Stewart (Troy Lee Designs/Lucas Oil/Honda) ran as high as sixth in the 250 main, but ended up in ninth spot for the night.

8. Jake Canada brought home his 5150 Energy Honda in Seattle.

7. Cooper Webb (Yamalube Star Racing Yamaha) was seventh this week, a little outside his fifth overall in the point standings.

6. Zach Osborne (GEICO Honda) and Dean Wilson had a great heat race battle, with Zach pressuring him all the way to the finish.

5. Jessy Nelson (Troy Lee Designs/Lucas Oil/Honda) had his best ride of the season with a fifth this weekend.

4. Crashes hurt the results this weekend for Dean Wilson (Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki), but the shoulder that he injured in Houston didn't seem to be slowing him down at all.

3. Justin Hill (Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki) nabbed another podium with a strong ride.

2. Jason Anderson (Rockstar Energy Racing KTM) had an off-track excursion, but also had the speed to re-pass Justin Hill after getting back on the track.

1. Cole Seely (Troy Lee Designs/Lucas Oil/Honda)
