Top 10: Indianapolis 250s

Sure, The Speedway is a big deal in Indy, but this is a town that's a hub for all sorts of motorsports teams, and a crowd that appreciates their racing. There was quite the full first turn in this one, with Matt Bisceglia, Vince Friese, and Martin Davalos leading the charge in the 250 class. Let's run through the top ten.

1. Adam Cianciarulo (Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki) became the first repeat winner in the '14 250 East season, taking over the top spot after Martin Davalos went down on lap seven. For a while it looked like this might be a race that no one wanted to win, as Adam had a few moments of his own, but he stayed out front and took his second SX race.

2. Martin Davalos (Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki) couldn't quite duplicate his Atlanta win, but he's been on the podium every round so far. The track bit him here, but he's only five points back of his teammate in the title chase.

3. Another week, another podium for GEICO Honda's Justin Bogle. He put on a healthy charge, coming from mid-pack to grab a third.

4. Matt Bisceglia (GEICO Honda) had his best Supercross race to date, running in second spot for a few laps after Martin Davalos went down. He said he got a bit tight at the end, but this race was head and shoulders above any of the results so far in his rookie SX season.

5. Blake Baggett (Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki) didn't get off to a good start in the 250 main, and was 14th at the end of lap one. To come back to fifth at the end on a very sketchy track was quite a feat. Here he's battling with Vince Friese over fifth spot with a lap or so to go.

6. Vince Friese (Factory MetalWorks) has been really consistent in the 250 East title chase, and he was sixth again this weekend.

7. Jimmy DeCotis was seventh last week, and guess what? Seventh again here.

8. Matt Lemoine (JAB Motorsports) moved up a spot this week, from ninth to eighth.

9. Cole Thompson had his high water mark race the first week in Dallas, and has slid just a bit each week since. Inside the top ten regularly, though, is pretty damn good.

10. Kyle Cunningham (Smartop MotoConcepts Racing) bounced up a bit from last weekend in Atlanta, and rounds out our top ten here.

Adam Cianciarulo is enjoying the wins. Can he do it again next weekend in Daytona? Check back next week to see.
