The Big Picture: Justin Barcia 6

We took a little field trip to Florida earlier this week to check out the Barcia Training Facility, where the 2011 Lites East Supercross champ has been keeping a low profile, and working on getting ready to defend his title. As usual, it was a blast watching him ride. Obviously he doesn't have all his new gear yet, but there are some changes in his kit. Watch for a video from there soon here on Vital MX.

What about the Tech 10 boots? Last year he was always in Fox boots.

The Thor gloves were done up as a pair to go with the red/black wrist braces. It's what Allsport had available. When I shot those, Justin was in the limbo between gear deals. No incoming Fox stuff (like new gloves), but no new gear from the new company. You do see some new stuff, like the Shoei helmet, Oakley goggles, and Alpinestars boots and neck brace.
