| With a nine-point lead heading into the final main event, Ryan Villopoto (Monster Energy Kawasaki) didn't really need to go full speed and race with Chad Reed (TwoTwo Motorsports Bel Ray Racing) and Ryan Dungey (Rockstar Energy Suzuki), particularly after early leaders James Stewart (San Manuel Red Bull Yamaha) and Kevin Windham both crashed in the whoops. But this particular battle was for second in the championship, and Reed nailed down not only the win on the night, but the runner-up spot in the championship as well. |

| Broc Tickle (Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki) and Eli Tomac (GEICO Honda) were locked in a close duel for the title in the Lites West championship, and for much of the main, it looked like Tomac had the edge. But when he got locked in a duel with Cole Seely (Troy Lee Designs / Lucas Oil / Honda), and a very hungry Kyle Cunningham (DNA Shred Stix / Star Racing / Yamaha), it allowed Tickle to close the gap and eventually finish second in the main behind Ken Roczen, while Tomac ended up in fourth spot. That gave him Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki's 27th number one plate. |
