Privateer Power: Charles Castloo

While a huge amount of attention gets paid to the factory guys and their equipment, the same doesn’t always hold true for the privateers. Charles Castloo is a Texas transplant now living in So. Cal., and chasing his dream of racing the West Coast Supercross Lites, as well as the AMA Nationals. 2007 was his first year in Supercross, and while he didn’t make any mains, he did score a pair of Asterisk Medic Cards…finishing just one spot out of a transfer in the LCQ at Anaheim 1 and Anaheim 2.

For 2008, Charles switched to Kawasakis, and along with EBR Performance, built up his dream bike. Charles explained, “I held nothing back. I want no excuses come A1 in the equipment department...or at least as few as possible because it’s still a privateer bike.” Charles is also sporting a dealer assist/Team Green deal through Chaparral, and during the ’08 season will be housed under the Wonder Warthog canopy for the second year in a row.
