The Honda U.S. Open Freestyle Motocross Air Show in Huntington Beach, California was a great event that a few hundred thousand people seemed to really enjoy. Freestyle motocross wasn’t the only sport on display, there was also BMX, skateboarding, and of course, surfing.
VitalMX was there to check out what was going on at the freestyle show, and Jeff Tilton and his crew of aerial masters gave the crowd all the excitement they could handle. This one was a pure demo, so without the worries of scoring the most points, the riders were able to have fun and enjoy showing off their collection of tricks in a freestyle demo. Mike Mason and Myles Richmond were the stars of the show, and the featured trick of the weekend had to be when Myles would take off from the ramp and do one of his patented look back whips, and would just stare right at Mike Mason who was launching off the ramp to begin his own whip!
