I did not know Ron with Honda and FMF. I do remember him with T&M when he rode hondas though. 73 and 74. What year was the honda? T&M always initialed the cylinders. My 74 yz250 had the same. back then rode for for Lemar's Cycle in Orange which became Sunshine Cycle.

never rode there. Rawhide brings back memories. Rubberband start, and I remember he ran sprinklers on the track all night. Left hand start straight into a filled gully! Remember the chuck bowers and mcdougal penton races at OCIR? You could through a blanket over those guys they raced so close.

I use to ride somwhere around there also. Use to pump gas at the mobil at 15th and Balboa. There was a couple of guys I rode with there. Jon Derhammer on a Montesa and Steve Shipley on a Maico.
