Started racing 80's in the late 70's . Had first race at Milan when they had a night track. Did pretty well in the first moto, then had track officials point out that we were supposed to be in the A class. That was not so good because I recall a really cool sounding tricked out XR 75, ridden by Danny Hedley, hand me my ass but good.

Moved up through 125's and spent last few years on 250's. Probably remembered as a wise ass and pretty good at nailing holeshots and hanging on to them for about 3 turns...lol. Last bike I had was a pretty fast Suzuki RM 250 that I got from Dick Robbins. Feel free to comment, say hey but please be gentle...

That pic of Hollis in mid fall is cool. It didn't exist back then but it appears as Dave is saying WTF to the guy on the Honda that stuffed him in that corner

[u]Keith Bowen...Not the best career but I think he did win a few outdoor nationals in one of the most competitive eras ever. He certainly had the raw speed and natural ability to run with the DB, RJ, O'mara, Ward, Hannah etc and perhaps win a title during the mid '80's. I actually see Alan King around town now and again. I talked to him last week and he said he kind of stopped racing/riding cold turkey like a lot of us did. He is a builder now by trade. I think he was probably the fastest tall dude other than Mike Bell. If I recall, he was the 500cc AMA...
