Jeffrey Herlings and Max Anstie had a lot of great battles in their amateur years. Both riders were riding the Dutch Open Championships in the 85 class. We have an interesting movie of the supercross in Schijndel in 2005. Herlings is riding aboard the Suzuki and Anstie is riding aboard the Kawasaki.

Anstie was the kid to beat in amatures.. beat Eli Tomac on more than one occasion

Everyone says Anstie first came to America in 2009 or whenever on KTMs but he actually raced in the states in 2007 on a KX85 with UFO gear.
