Personal note: in 1987 I was at Arizona State University when the Supercross rolled into Sun Devil stadium. The day before the race I was riding my bicycle home from class and heard bikes in the empty stadium.
So I just rode right in and up to the side of the track. Jeff Ward comes ripping by about five feet away, followed by Ron Lechien, RJ and all the stars. After reading about these guys in mags for years, it was awesome to see them up close. Nobody was there. Just sat there and watched them practice all afternoon.
Good times. Ward won the race.

I agree! I've actually been printing the pages off and started a folder. DC and staff do a great job on anything related to historical Moto.

(btw Jason did you get my message about housing out your way?)

Loving the old school stuff. And, agree about putting into book format. Would be a great read.
