I'm sure you been follwing this but i didn't see a current post on it.

crazy shit down there.

the first report from the junta gov was 350 dead from storm a few days ago. now it is over 100k dead...maybe 200k.

what can you do? what should we do? did god do this? just like what he did to the gays in new orleans? are there a lot of gays in Myanmar ? is there oil over there?

It's not ONLY the U.S aid that is being denied.. so I don't see where Bush comes into the picture at all?? The UN is not made up of the U.S. alone. If they deny aid from other countries.. then let them be. Should we have stomped our way into Iraq? Why should we stomp our way (or any other country for that matter) into a country that doesn't want the help?

It's sad to see the high numbers keep climbing on the death rate there... truly it is.. but it's mother nature...

Yep they were turning back everyones aid except from Tailand I believe. This morning I heard what everyone else did, that the UN was stopping shippments because the Miramar government was taking all the supplies for themselves. Its at this point that the UN should activate there blue helmeted armed forces and go in and make sure the aid gets to the people. Isnt that what the UN is for? How can they sit back and watch government after government mistreat their people? The UN is apparently impotent.
