Gearing on 11 CRF250

I,ve been running the stock gearing 49/13 and it seems like im having to shift like crazy and working the clutch alot in corners and soft areas, has alot of bottom but when not much mid or top.... would changing my gearing help? or any other suggestions?

Without question go to 48/13. This is what we run on the outdoor national tracks. We run 49 or even 50 at Loretta's. Easy fix.
