Pro X rods are made by ART in Japan. They are good but you can buy a complete OEM crank for about $75 more. They run $259 here, with free shipping on orders over $89. Cheap Honda Parts

You misunderstood me. A complete OEM crank runs $75 more than a ProX rod alone.

It looks like you got a decent deal on the ebay crank. I would run it.

I consider a rebuilt crank to be new pin ,thrust washers bearing and rod. That rod is well used with all that heat. When a crank goes everything is scrap other than the webs.

The Pro-X rod is brand new and installed on used OEM crank halves which were inspected prior to rebuild. Pro X rods have a "used" look to the finish when new as you can see on their website. The wrist pin hole is the best way to see that this rod is unused.

NO I am not but I don't want to rain on anyones parade. The only way to get all that blue at the rist pin is from heat and that is from a running bike. It don't take much to run a wheel cylinder hone through the small end of the rod to make it look like new and get the glaze off. I looked at the pictures and I do not see any assembly lube on the big end bearing and thrust washers. If you are happy that is all that matters, Cheers

not everybody uses the assembly lube or it be clean with cloth, this was not an accurate way to see if the rod and used or inused, i also know, just run a wheel cylinder hone through the small end of the rod to make it look like new, when it will arrive to me i check carefully, thanks again Wink
