Okay, I did a hare and hound last weekend, and it brought something to my attention.
At the begining of the race my suspension is plush and just how I like it, but about the halfway mark (or later depending on the length of the race) my forks got incredibly rough and rigid. They didn't seem to be absorbing anything at all. (It was so bad last weekend I thought there was something wrong with them).
The possible causes I could think of:
-I'm going slower (because I'm tired) and so the suspension just "appears" broken because its set up for faster speeds.
-Gas build up in the forks causes them to be stiffer.
-I'm just tired and so the bumps just "feel" worse....
Any other ideas?
is this an anomaly specific to my bike or are other people having the same problem?
Any tips to solve the problem?
