So we see the pros getting in each other face every now and again

Who has done it themselves?

I have

One time, embarrassingly i accused the wrong guy and was only saved a whack
by my 7'2" friend (yes 7'2'' /218 cm) who had followed me! :&

Got his ph nos a week later and apologized.

Well I thought a few interesting story might be better than "why js7 crashes?" thread!

You can run into some psychos in 40+. I get the feeling these guys take out all their life's anger on the motocross track. Ironically, it's supposed to be the fun class, and these guys act like they're on the line at A1.

good point wow123.

i got into it a few years ago with a fast guy from Vegas. i was racing the 125A class and he was in the 125B, well they started us together and i got a shitty start and passed my way into second. he was right behind me and i was trying to pass for the lead on the last lap when he cleaned us both out. to say i reacted like an adult would be a lie. i open handed him in the head twice then picked up my bike to get going when he tried to come at me, we were separated and after i cooled down at the truck i felt like an idiot.

i didn't go over to his truck and push his bike over afterward though, so i've got that going for me Wink

I had a guy in practice come up real fast and he was screaming and whooping like I should care, I held my line,he thought he could pass me on the outside he went to high I slowed down and whooped right back at him as he fell off the berm.

I found him in the pits and told him it was me , He said I could get my ass kicked for that but quickly backed off when I said lets get it done.

Great times

I would hope everyone here has, but I think when cooler heads prevailed both parties realize that racing dirt bikes is dangerous and shit is going to happen. Thats why to me most of the whining about JS7 is so stupid. I have had many of his crashes that people whine about, and because I have landed on people twice once when the guy cased a big double and shot in my line while I was in the air, and another when the dude singled and swerved into my line, also was taken out in the whoops from behind. In none of those crashes was I mad at the other rider. Rarely do you ever hear one of the top riders complain about JS7, because they understand racing.

Same has happened to me in the 40+ am class. Guy took me out on Henry's hill at Budds. I found him at the staging area for moto 2 where he denied it but after telling him my son caught it on camera he apologized.

At an arenacross race some guy basically did the same thing to me that James did to Chad. I was pinned under my bike with my tire doing a burnout on my back. He pulls his bike off mine and just takes off. . I would have had words with the guy if I had even got a glimpse of who it was.

This one time I was leading a race and on the last lap I caught a lapper. The guy sees me coming and starts to try and race me, he misses the rut in a turn and runs me right off the track. I'm out in the weeds flying W and all, holding on for dear life. I finally make it back on the track just barely in front of the 2nd and 3rd place guys. A few turns later I catch the guy again, I got 2nd and 3rd all over me, I'm dropping anchor, and the damn guy is taking the inside lines getting all squirrelly. Eventually I make it passed the guy just and get the win by inches.
As we exiting the track I stop at the top of an embankment and wait for the guy. He rides up behind me with a big smile giving me the thumbs up. I dump the clutch and just roost the guy right in his face. He rode up to me cussing me out but I just didn't have enough energy to explain to him how big of an idiot he was.

The closest's I've come to it was through my own mistake.

It was in a practice session before the racing a few years back. There was a drop off followed by a single and then a tight right hander. I came off the drop off and as I flew over the single I clicked down from third into what I thought would be second. But I went too far and ended up in neutral - losing virtually all my speed upon landing . There was another rider right on my ass and of course he ploughed straight into my rear fender while I was frantically trying to find a gear.

He was really pissed (bent his bike up a bit) but was later fine when I found him and his dad in the pits and apologised - told him what had happened.
