Cerakote Engine Cases

KTM Two Stroke

I want to Cerakote the Engine Cases for my KTM 380 Project.

My question is how to prepare the Sealing Surfaces and Bearing Seats for the Coating.

Seen YT Videos to Cover all with Heat resistant Tape , is it not possible to fit the Cases together to protect the Sealing Surfaces and Ceracote the Engine in one Piece?


I did it once with an Aluminium Plate to Powder Coat a Clutch Cover .


Please let me know your Cerakote experience and how it turns out with some photos
