Kawasaki didn’t have to. Prado qualified 43rd and it was clear to anyone watching that he was trying to not qualify but was unaware that due to his being inside the top ten in points, he would get in anyway.
It was an embarrassment, World Champion or not. He took his ball and went home without apologizing for wasting people’s time, efforts, and money.
I won’t go shit on him like this place does certain other riders, but I’m not a fan.

Fortunately, that is history. And he redeemed himself this year and goes in as a serious title threat next year.
Wrong. Until Kawasaki or Prado actually say what happened that day, all we have is “alleged” at best. What no one knows, because no one on the team has talked about it, is what actually happened to keep him from throwing down heaters. Was it just his stubbornness, or Kawasaki’s? Or both?
