2021.5 450 SXF FE Connectivity Unit Question

Good Afternoon All-

I sold the above bike yesterday. Prior to doing so, I connected to the bike and removed it from my KTM app. I then verified that it wasn’t there upon reopening the app (just my 350 now).

Unfortunately, I got a message from the buyer this morning saying that when they try to pair, it tells him that the bike is still connected and/or claimed by me, thus preventing him from pairing. 

I’ve seen online that he can call KTM USA and they can reset it for him with proof of ownership, but I was hoping to find a way he/we can solve it so he doesn’t have to wait (since tomorrow is Labor Day). My app still shows only my new bike. I did log in on the website, it still shows the 450 as well but there’s no button to remove the bike.

Unfortunately he’s 2hrs away from me or I’d meet him to see if we can resolve it by me re-pairing with the bike temporarily to somehow see more options. 

Any help would be appreciated.
