" Flock Cameras " the good and the bad.

Flock facing more scrutiny as it's come to light that some of Flock's major investors also fund an Israeli firm, Toka, which as the ability to hack security cameras and manipulate footage. The homies that say "well if you've got nothing to hide then you have nothing to worry about", now they'll just alter the footage and you're guilty. How will anyone know what the truth is any more? Regardless which hat you wear or which side of the aisle you are on, this is never going to be used for our good. I guarantee it will be used against us.

Man I wish it was democrats in the White House building the US version of the Chinese surveillance state that I’ve had fear porned into my brain for the last 10 years. Give me a fucking break. Fuck all this ai and surveillance shit. I don’t want any more safety from the government. Protect the countrie’s border and leave me the fuck alone. 

Forgive my ignorance of the workings of government down there, and not to be sounding like I'm letting the feds or anyone else off the hook, but aren't most of these down there being brought in at the local or state government level? 

The number one tell to me that something sinister is afoot is that stuff like and related to this is happening right across the Western world regardless of who's in government. I feel like I'm crazy even thinking that way. 

Much of the covidian authoritarian nightmares were put in place by local and state governments too. Doesn't absolve the feds by any means, much of it is how it is incentivized from the top down.

As a police officer, I am very much against these. We already have enough government intrusion and these open the doors for further intrusion. The net positives of what they can do are nowhere close to outweighing the negatives that will come with it. 

Oh good! Now they’ll be able to tell which devices are yours. Also read another recently that even if you have no devices in the vehicle they can even pick up your tire pressure monitor sensors via their signal. This shit needs to end. Fuck the government.
