Anyone with a 3rd gen sienna hauling their bike? I know it won’t fit inside, but has anyone added a hitch and rack? Looking for any advice. Sold my Tacoma to gut out a sienna for surf/mtb and keeping things locked inside. Now just trying to figure out how to haul a bike. Getting a new stark varg soon so pretty heavy bike at around 260lbs.
I pulled a light 3-place rail trailer behind a sienna for years...it worked great. I felt it if there was three bikes on the trailer (with three dudes, plus gear)...but with one bike, I didn't even realize that little trailer was back there.
I did own a bike hitch mounted single bike rack, but never used it...the hitch sitting below the bumper was already low, then add the extra length of the rack, and it was just slow low that it would drag on pretty much everything...since i had the trailer, it was just easier to use that.
Ah alright. Yeah I don’t really have room to store a trailer. Might just sell and go back to truck. I do love the minivan though!
