The US stream is honestly a pretty brutal watch. I've watched a couples GT's and monuments through the TNT/HBO squad, and it's night and day better.
Commercial free I'm not positive, but either SBS or the TNT(UK) almost certainly will have less than NBC's coverage. SBS is free to stream with an AUS VPN. TNT you can VPN to Europe with an HBO subscription, but non-VPN you're limited to NBC as far as I'm aware.
Yea, I really enjoy Bob and Christian a lot. I could listen to those two all day talk about what’s happening. I know a lot of people grew up with Phil and he’s probably irreplaceable to the majority, but it really seems like Bob spends a lot of time keeping him on track lol.
I haven’t been listening to Lances show much the last two tours since Sir Bradley joined. When it was Lance, Johan and George, I couldn’t get enough. I’d pay money to listen to what they talked about off air lol.
I think I might have to pony up and get the HBO Max coverage.
Awesome seeing Quinn Simmons busting out front to give his dad five, while his dad holds a big American flag.
🇺🇸
Just a reminder of what a badass Tom Pidcock is.

In 2013 I was layed up with injury and got to watch every stage in its entirety throughout the whole tour. This year and many others has been just the opposite. But without good stage viewing opportunities it is just a bummer. Even if its 3 weeks long, you still have to stay updated every stage to really follow the race.
Hopefully after today, Lidl-Trek will shift over and give Quinn Simmons their support in these last few Mt stages.
There was talk yesterday on, the move, post race podcast, about road furniture.
And the lack of removal, like in past tours.
Vinegaard's crash, and even one of the final righ turns, that ended another racer's tour, on the TT were good examples.
But the drainage ditch that caused the crash just now, was fucking ridiculous.
Insane that a hole like that wasn't barricaded off.
Last stage of Tour de France will be shorter (89km instead of 133km) because of the absence of part of the security members that are coming down to Bordeaux for the wildfire.
Pogacar:
Gifts Stage 2 to Del Toro
Effectively wins the GC on Stage 3
Gifts Remco a stage win after Jonas DNF
DESTROYS ALP DU HUEZ
Drags teammate to podium
Has 6+ minute lead (and easily could be 10+)
Fifth TdF GC
Best ever…
He is a class act, that's for sure.
His smooth, but vicious, climb Friday was a record breaker.
Even though the yellow jersey race was over, even before Vinegaard's crash, there's been so many good races.
Mad's climing to the sprint points.
His teammate, Simmons always up front in the action.
Fucking Carapaz !!!
Relentless doesn't even begin to describe him.
And Sepp Kuss's attempt at a stage win yesterday.
Not a bad tour.
Mads doing shit he should not be able to do. Carapaz KOM was epic. And a final stage like no other. Tadej dragged MVDP to the finish. In a world of ruthless competitors, Tadej is a unicorn.
That was a vicious last few miles.
A fitting end to the tour.
Vinegaards crash was down to his lead guy going the wrong side of a very simple central reservation, and the 4 guys between him and JV following.
If that had been in the last 5km them for sure, it would have been removed, but it was a right turn at a small roundabout , clearly signed and the lead rider fucked up, he went to the right of the roundabout , but to the left of the reservation, which was marked with a bale. No-one on the comms team called him out for that , and had JV been right on the wheel of the guy in front, he may have been going slower earlier, but he rolled in from a few lengths back and tucked front. Shit happens.
