One driver unable to make it out on track though was Max Verstappen, the Dutchman's Red Bull coming to a stop in the pit lane before being wheeled back to the garage as the four-time World Champion complained his car kept dropping into anti-stall.

An attempt to get out on track 15 minutes later resulted in the same outcome, with Red Bull enduring a difficult session as Isack Hadjar was also unable to head out until just 24 minutes remained due to car issues.

A hydraulic leak also hampered reigning World Champion Lando Norris, with the McLaren driver confined to the garage until the final 14 minutes.

I cant stand Boy George so Im going to take Verstappen's side. 

Maybe Ferrari has a chance tomorrow.

I agree, Mercedes has it figured out with performance but unfortunately they just like all the other top teams are still having mechanical failures all these teams can win races but then they will also roll to a stop and get a DNF , at least its keeping it interesting.    

Q3 got interesting. Max’s parallel parking wasn’t good; but, other than that…the closing laps were pretty awesome. 

Did the wing stay inverted? 

I have no idea. 

With the various upgrades and the apparent “allowances” in the electric management aspect of the power units…

There appears to be a slight re-stacking of the Fast Teams and their hierarchy.

Mercedes is still the obvious top dog…but, not by nearly as much as they were.

OK Ferrari, Hamilton on pole for the sprint so hopefully they can get a win

We all know that anything is possible,  but considering the things that Twigster was talking about, there's no telling who will be where. Especially in a sprint. 

Yep, that's why they run the race.

That was bizarre. 

That was quite puzzling. I'm sure we'll never hear what happened, but it almost looks like the throttle hung a bit.
