Pretty stoked to find out Silver Creek is open and operational again. Probably raced there 50+ times in the 90's. Me and a couple buddys are going this Sunday for practice day. New layout vs years ago, but appears to still be similar. Morganton NC. Anyone been recently?
I’ve seen a couple of videos popping up online lately. We actually grew up practicing and doing off-road races there ourselves! I caught one of the newer videos a few weeks back.
haha, i saw that same one this week too. I like how the layout appears to be. No more huge step up or step down like what was there years ago. However, some of those jumps could be pretty large vs what they appear on the gopro in the vid. May take me a few laps for my sack to drop again.
That guy is a just a shade over 1 min lap time. Appears to be a pretty fast rider. For an old guy. Im sure whoever it is was someone we raced against in the 90's.
