Hi i have hanging idle on my bike it is Suzuki rm 125 2006 when i start the bike the idle is high when I play little bit with the gas it drops like the bike wants to die but it idle for long time unless i touch the throttle again and the idle is again high anyone knows what can be the problem ?
Perform a leak down test or search for air leaks, carb boot, LH crank seal, base gskt., etc. Then check reeds.
Most likely air leak.
Check carb slide is fully closing, so check over the throttle cable and assembly.
Bad crank seal
I didnt find the air leak behind crankcase seal neither on air boot or airbox could be these reeds the problem ? They look toasted little piece is missing and when i look at the sun thru them i see light

They definitely need replacing. Rebuild it and re fit it with new gaskets, and a light smear of some kind of gasket sealer doesn't hurt
Yes they are at bad condition could this be the reason it was hanging ?
I would check the jets make sure they are not clogged. sounds like its running lean (too much air not enough fuel).
What size jets are in there?
does it run better with choke on?
also, always put new spark plug in.
needs new reed petals but not problem they look good enough to run.
Is exhaust leaking at the head?
No there is no leak at exhaust connecting to head … Iam suspecting that it is the reeds … there should not be any light coming thru them … also i want to try pressure test where i plug the intake and exhaust and pút the pressure here
