No, but they COULD give him more support to ensure there ARE 2 Hondas inside the top 5 in points. Right now Honda is just giving Reed transmissions. That could change now that he is proving himself out there.

i like grant but think he was only signed as a back up rider for trey. Trey is the front runner and closest thing to a title contender don't think they have the money for another big name

Grant has showed his potential. The kid is hit or miss. the only problem Grant pretty much misses 90% of the time. It blows my mind how teams always grab the 10% and run with it. Davey Milsaps has made a career out of it.

Honda letting Short go and grabbing grant was a bit strange since the big bike has kicked Grants ass.

Short on the other hand had a good night. 8Th is as good as it gets for him with the current riders in the field.
