Where do we need to go, what do we need to see, where to eat, etc. while we're in town?

Just sit in your hotel room and count down the hours before you get to come home. Thats gotta be more exciting than anything Seattle has to offer.

I actually arrive late, and leave early. This is more of a public service thing for people who are spending more time there. But thanks for playing. Smile

It all depends on where you are staying. If you are staying downtown, then there are plenty of good food spots, but I like going down to Ivar's on the waterfront. Short walk (or taxi) down to the stadium, etc.

If you are staying close to the airport, then it's mostly just chain restaurants like everywhere else.

Seattle's a fun town, lots of good bars & resturants downtown near the waterfront. If you've got an extra day rent a car & ferry to the islands. Skip the Seattle underground but the Pioneer Square area is cool. Good public transportation.

Pikes market is cool. Very touristy, but it's cool if you have some time to kill.

The Seafood Bar is OK, but you can go to one of those at any mall up here too....

The Acres of Clams is on the same pier, and it's a nice place for dinner. There are more expensive places to go down there, but I don't know if they are really any better than Ivar's Acres of Clams.

The hotel that Zappa stated at was the Edgewater. My wife and I stayed there on our first anniversary and had a nice little party just down the street at the Waterfront Grill. Nice, but probably not worth the price for it.

Don't forget the EMP. Fun place to drink too.

As for the weather, its only three days away, so factoring in six more changes in the forecast, I predict its all good!

You heard it here. Aaron.Cool

By the way, in spite of the fact that we've lost just about every good riding area we've ever had, is anyone bringing their bikes up here for some pre or post supercross rides???

Go eat at Mediterranean Mix, it's on the corner of S Washington and 1st Ave S, pretty close to the stadium. I usually go after anything at the stadiums. Best gyros ever. I don't think you'll regret it, and a whole meal is usually no more than $6.

Find out where Queensryche is and hang out with them.
Or go find Eddie Vedder and punch him in the face.

Anthony's fish house is always a good bet for some fresh Northwest seafood or some great raw oysters. You can also go check out some of the Deadliest catch boats in the harbor near Ballard and don't forget the Ballard locks and the fish ladders where you can watch the Salmon climbing into lake Washington.

Hey Guy B can you promise Wildbill something for free if he goes, I can't get the guy to go to any moto events anymore, maybe you can coax him out of CV.

Hey Trip I'd rahter breathe the air out of a tailpipe of a car in Seattle than the freshest breeze you;ve got in So Cal LOL.
