Was just about to say the same. You beat me to it. I’m so tired of good people that do the right thing getting screwed while the ones doing the screwing don’t seem to get their comeuppance.
It wasnt, and isnt easy guys. Im pretty methodical but the risk wasnt worth it once insurance took care of me. I ended up pretty good and was taught a lesson. Never think it wont happen and its something moto people should prep excessively for. Hope this post causes atleast one person to take extra precautionary measures in protecting their bikes, AND being positive you're insured well.
They were out on the streets last night. Im sure they're sleeping now but this is how dumb they are. Im close to figuring out the house they've rented this year. Lol. This is the turd who acts like its his bike, but two other turds are were riding it last night. Him and his peeps shared this pic a dozen times thinking hes cool sitting on a rented 3 wheeler. Lol

When it happened to me, and I located one of my bikes, I didn’t bother letting the cops know. I went in at gun point and got it back.
Then after let the detective know to take it off the stolen registry or what ever.
Wasn’t so much about the money for me, more so that they came to my house and stole from me.

A friends family member wound up doing the same thing. Even had pictures of the bike leaned up against a house multiple different days with his name still on the number plates and the cops still wouldn’t do anything about it.
How'd you know they weren't packing? Seems like it could have ended badly.
Didn’t know, had they pulled a gun all 3 of them wouldn’t be breathing though. Had my buddy covering me with an AR also.
