I love it!
Having talked to mates about what machines you'd want to maintain property.... I reckon you want a decent tractor with 4x4, and a digger. But for track work which can be fiddly, a skid steer is also really good (especially since the bucket is close to the tracks / pivot).
If your land is generally the right terrain, a skid steer and a tractor would be my guess. Possibly even just a tractor to start, if the dirt is soft. If you can find a skid steer with rippers, that is even better. Also, the other post with it towing a disc plow is also nifty.
Also, for tracks, depending upon your climate you'll want some water. A nice diesel pump or something to keep it from turning to dust is essential.
What a gorgeous piece of land & track!
Here a lap on my track with the old layout.

Thanks. Land was a great find purchased in 2004.
Track took two years to complete 2014 and 15 with several changes. First ride Jan 2016.
Elevation 4600 ft in the Aquarius mts nw az. 200 ft elevation change, pine and cedar tree lined, nice weather and great dirt.
Never hear the term “skid steer “ before. Looked it up ….. in my neck of the woods they call it a “BobCat”. Lol
Good times.👍🏻
wow, your track looks amazing and huge for a home track. Do you have a video?
Here's a vid from Mar. Pretty dry and sketchy but good throttle control practice.

I think a tracked skid would be perfect, ideally a large frame model (Deere 333/335, Cat 299, Kubota 97, ASV 135, etc).. They work well for snow removal too. My first one was a 2012 Deere 333d and it's awesome. Pre-emissions and the 5cyl engine sounds awesome. Loads of hydraulic lifting power and breakout force. Rough ride with the ridged undercarriage through. My second was an ASV RT135. Smooth ride with suspension undercarriage and massive power, through curiously less breakout force. Something like my Deere should be within your budget no problem. I use a 9' bucket for snow and mulch and such and standard dirt bucket for dirt work. I also get a lot of use out of a grapple moving logs and rocks around.
Enjoy! Looks like an awesome track and property!
Good thing I have spare pants at work. Good LORD. 🤤
I used to dream of having my own track, but now I have about a dozen. Didn't cost me anything but 3 shovels (so far) stay in shape and I get to ride all the time!
And thank you for being cool enough to let my son ride that track. You’ve got a great set up. Well done sir.
