Yup thats the same way I feel. All parts unlimited dealers can order them though. You could go to a really big dealer and order it and they might get away with you not having to buy it if it doesnt fit.

Shenzi can tell you all you want to know about them. I'll alert him.

Racer92 you are right, don't buy a helmet you haven't tried yet. Like most helmets, there are often cases where the rider needs to change cheek-pads sizes, where the shape of a helmet doesn't fit comfortably on a head, etc.

MXRider225 had tried before to find them in FL and as per his post, 99% of the dealers in the US are Parts Unlimited dealers (AGV's distributor) and can order it. Florida dealers should get the delivery within 24 hours.

If you guys are around Chicago, the D-Store Chicago in Schaumburg has them, Performance Motorsports in Holland, MI, in the OC, go to the D-Store in Newport Beach/Costa Mesa where they also have them in stock.

When you know the sizing/fit, you can order them directly through AGV.com (we use Shopatron so your purchase could be handled by a local dealer too).

As far as the fit, I can only report what Ashley, Denis Jonnon or Davi (when he helped us with the development) said, because I work with them. They all like the fit of that MTX.

For the MTX, try it on, compared with the other helmets from other brands (Fox, Thor, Bell, etc) that are in the same price range and see which one is lighter and fits you better

We've seen this helmet and even tried it on! It's very solid, could be a bit lighter but it has a low price point, so that's a bit of a tradeoff....

We'll be testing it against the SHIFT and Scorpion helmets in the same (price) range and report back!

Loved them when I was roadracing back in the early 90's. I would like to see the new ones up close too. Colorado stocking dealers?

Are you far from Fay Myers in Denver? I know they don't have them in yet because I was there last week for some Dainese business, but if you go to Scott Mundel in the accessories/parts department, he would order 1 or 2 for you to try.
