Bike - 2023 CRF450R
Replacing battery. Bought a Firepower model through Rocky Mountain. They shipped me:
Featherweight Lithium Battery 120 CCA 12V/24Wh HJ04L-FP-B
Part #: 490-2426
Has anyone done this swap??
My battery cover does not fit well over this battery. The length on the Firepower battery is shorter (not a big deal) but the height is ~4.7mm taller than the OE and the battery cover sits very proud of the original surface.
Just wondering if there is a different battery model # that fits better or what???
Firepower website lacks a little too which doesnt help.
Apparently, i'm the only one with this issue. Lol.
For posterity, I ordered a Skyrich modelHJ12L-FPZ lithium battery and the dimensions are exact to the OE battery.
Sent the Firepower unit back.
