Hey guys, new here so not sure if this is the correct spot to put this.

Anyway, I am going on a little road trip to see some friends in SLC area and am bringing my bike. Is there any good riding close to that area that you guys would recommend? Thanks!

There are afew tracks and several off-road riding areas, including some high elevation single track.  When will you be in area?  The tracks are closed now.  They will open in spring,  weather permitting

Thanks for the reply, I will be out there this coming weekend for until mid-week. I typically ride more offroad stuff and singletrack in Socal, not sure of the condition with snow.

There’s a place called Jericho that’s about 90 miles south of Salt Lake City.  There are a few Desert Races a year at this place.  There’s a couple places West of Salt Lake City called Delle and Knolls which are good places too.

hit up the Cherry Creek area, could easily get a full day riding in down there and only about an hour drive from SLC.  any decent high mountain single-track is still going to be sloppy, come back in a couple months and the single-track will be prime.

this is where i like to stage for Cherry Creek, head south then through a fence.  there are trails everywhere down there but after getting through the gate i like to head west towards the mountains.  make sure you have a bread-crumb GPS app or something, it can be easy to get turned around and lost due to the spiderwebbing of some of the trails.

If you're coming from SoCal via the 15, you can stop in Hurricane amd hit all kinds of  great trails
