If you worry about hitting the big jump you aren’t ready. When you are fast enough you won’t even think about it.

Best advice I ever got I was 13 years old and my friends family took me out to jawbone canyon, I hopped on my bike ASAP and my friend's dad pulled me off the bike and told me that what he was about to tell me was super important and I need to pay attention. "never ride over a hill in the desert if you don't know what's on the other side!!"

About an hour later I'm full throttle up a hill and I remember what he told me so I slowed to a stop, about 10 yard on the other side of the peak was a shear cliff that dropped off over 100 feet straight down. He saved my life that day
