I am offering an (as acquired) 77 RM 250 for part out... (yes I know tank is later) it has compression & ok pipe. Shocks aren't blown, wheels are incorrect & seat base is good. I also have several other RM's of this era in inventory also from 50's to 400.

That looks like a mashup of parts from an RM250B, C and C2. The swingarm is from a B or C. The pipe is from a B, the front end from a C or C2, and the tank from a C2.
Tank is actually a 79-80 125. It is a hillbilly bike for sure. I got it this way... but parts is parts.
I should have spotted the tank being from a 79-80. Looks more like a 250 tank.
I had a 1977, 1980 and 1981 RM250 and a 1979 RM125.
