Just bumping as I may be looking as well. 04-06 rmz250 aswell. Since its the same motors differen frames 06-08 kx250f have interchangeable engines 08 being the most reliable.

For some reason its hard to find the special parts for this gen bike. I know a couple years ago when i built up my 08 kx250f PC still had some factory transmission left over for sale. They did a run of them 04-09 thinking guys would buy them and it didnt quite sell as well as they thought. Same set up they used on the team bikes. If I remember correctly they wanted 4 or 5k for it.
