Hard Starting YZ250f 2024

I had couple times now, the first start at the track, that it won't fire. It takes about 10-15 times before it starts. The rest of the day it starts fine.

Could be after pressure washer, electronics or water in the boot? I change air filters every ride.

Never had this issue with my '22.

Thanks!

Read the 24 yz450f thread. Blip the starter to warm up the battery if it doesn't start hold the kill switch down for 10 seconds will reset it. Not saying it's the same problem but this is what fixed mine to always start.

My first thought is valve adjustment.

The starter does turn over but just doesn't fire, or this is same problem?

Same problem I've got 50 hours on mine it's pretty much done this since  new,it only really left me stranded once valves are in spec some people say to get a new kill switch but I've always reset with the kill switch and she always starts eventually. The thread is on here somewhere I don't know how to link it

Most bikes will hold a good idle up until about the 20-30 hr mark, then it comes down enough to make starting tough.  Try raising and see if you notice the change.
