vga to hdmi??

I have a notebook and want to hook it up to my HDMI, but i don't have an HDMI port on the notebook. It has a VGA port but the tv doesn't. Does anyone know if there is adaptor or if this is even possible? Thanks

You can thank Blu-Ray and the movie industry for the incompatibility.

There are no analog inputs at all on your TV? RCA plug input? You can go from d-sub VGA to RCA plug.

You can't just use an adapter you have to also convert the signal, try google it's awesome...
