Dear Christophe Pourcel

Dip Shit I said he was very fast! I said he wouldn't win a CHAMPIONSHIP!!!! NOT A RACE A CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok my mistake, I reluctantly re-read your posts and you did say championship. I'll admit it when I'm wrong.

Doesn't change the fact that you are coming off as a douche bag though. Just because you don't want CP to ever win another title doesn't mean he won't. Let's look at the facts:

- He's on his way to 3 titles in 2 years
- Consistently gets lap times among the top 3 in the 450 class on his 250
- Only guy last year who challenged Dungey
- His style is made for a bike like the 450
- You are basing all of this on 3 RACES! The guy is still 38 points up in the title chase and finished second with no clutch! Before these 3 races everyone was saying how he shouldn't even be in that class anymore from how he was embarrassing everyone else

- Last but not least: you're predictive abilities make me laugh. so you called RC to win a championship, BFD! That's like betting on Mayweather to win his next fight, or betting on the Cowboys to implode or on Lindsey Lohan to have another breakdown! And yeah, you said Reed wouldn't win this year but he got hurt by sheer dumb luck! And now he's struggling with EBV, I"m sure you saw that one coming too.

Just drop it already. You're best chance of being respected as a motocross fan is for everyone to forget your comments.

First off everyone was saying how this new kid named Bubba was going to come in and kill RC so people thought I was crazy telling them it would NEVER happen. Second of all Mayweather wouldn't win his next fight if he was man enough to face the Pac Man. That's a whole other topic that I'm sure we wouldn't agree on though. Don't doubt my knowledge of motocross. You know nothing about me. I've been on a bike since age three and usually attend at least 5-6 races a year. I am involved in the sport very heavily in many ways. Thanks

I don't doubt you've been in the sport forever; I'm sure you're totally core, just doesn't show is all. If you knew anything about our sport it would be how unpredictable it is.

I just hope you don't attempt a career change into motocross team management any time soon.

Man, you really have to get down from that high horse. There's no way you can predict things like you claim, and if you could it would only be a coincidence. If you are so certain, take a fat loan (claim you are buying a car or something) or borrow from the mafia and see some betters and make your case.

Uh, so you are not THAT sure...

Hey, you don't think CP will deliver, some others think so. But this thread was about my and others admiration of the kid and semi humors attempt to stir the spot some.

By the way, I don't either think he's as fast as Bubba when both of them are ON. But Stew isn't a Nats rider so that really doesn't matter. But my view is that there's something with this kid that makes him standout in a positive way for me.

Some like Trey (seems like a nice kid, and recently he has become crazy fast) while others like Pourcel. Personally I adore the little shit and I think I have some sent of knowlegde about injuries, emotions attached to them and what it takes to become a fast rider (since I have tried and failed).

it's okay, people were bound to find out sooner or later.

I did go to more than 6 races one year though.

I did the TransWorld Shadow with Christophe this weekend at Washougal. I had originally planned to follow Reedy around, but when he texted me to make other plans last week, I got in contact with CP's agent Russ to see if he would do it. To be honest, I could have shadowed a rider that I was already friends with and had an easier day, but I was looking for a challenge. I have to say, Christophe was super cool and one of the funniest dudes I've worked with. I think that when he shuns Matthes for interviews, etc., that's actually just his sense of humor... Looking forward to editing this one... Just my 2 cents

See some of you guys just read into what is said and take from it what you want. . 5-6 Nationals a year is a ton of races for someone who's job is not directly linked to the Nationals or SX. I never said I was a damn insider, I said I am deeply involved in the sport. I attend a lot of SX and National events which I have done since my first pro race at Kenworthy's back in the 90's, I have ridden most of my life and I have been involved in getting many different local tracks up and running in different states. I'm sure all of you guys that are running your mouths do this on a regular basis though right?

I never said I could predict the future either. It's comical that some of you dipshits can't see that I have an opinion. Next you will be getting butt hurt when I update this post with race results of your boy on a 450.

You're gonna be eating your words so please remember this post.

I personally don't root for him because I do think he is cocky and a sore looser in last year's championship but you're over the top. I admire him tremendously for what he has accomplished, and he is actually a very funny dude and his personality is many times misunderstood.

But he knows which way to twist that throttle and he will make you regret having said that.
I have been very impressed with Christophe's demeanor around the podium (really, the only time I've ever been around him). He is very respectful of Trey, and has even joked with him on the starting line. I know Trey has great respect for him, and for what he has overcome. Really, he seems like a stand-up guy.

We find it disappointing that people hate on him because he's French. About like hating on Trey because of his faith. Can't people just enjoy the racing?

I'm glad they at least get along. Maybe the most important thing?

In a perfect world we should all get along and just love the sport. But since we humans are filled with so many errors, contradictions and destructiveness this might be as good as its gets?

I could ramble for hours with this, the present lack of evolution within our species, the animal within, but I think that would be to much of a provocation for some! Smile

I think it's time to put a fork in this thread? Seems Weeks is getting in more trouble the further we go...
