So i previously owned a Honda xr80 and i grew out of it, now i want a bigger bike, im pretty sure i want a yz 125.
I'm gonna be riding it in my backyard, which has 2 small table tops (like i get 6ft of air). Its about a acre.
Maybe i will take it to the track a couple times, but not racing.
Now i heard all about rebuilding top and bottom ends, do i still need to redo them as much as if i raced? Is it gonna be too much to maintain, im really confused on how much you have to maintain a mx 2 stroke. is it worth it or should i just get a ttr?
Please help me with deciding between a mx or off road bike.
Thanks a lot!
mike.

foo foo bikes like ttr are a good start but its not long till you over ride them at all, mx bikes give you lots of room to improve as a rider. going from honda xr's to cr's was the best decision i ever made imo.
thanks alot for the reply,
and alright cool. what is wfo?
and yeah im pretty sure i want a 2 stroke though, i rode one and i didnt want to let it go. haha.

2 strokes are awesome for tight nasty trails and its not a big deal riding a motocross 2 stroke on trails, just use the minmum oil in the forks, run a little extra sag in the rear and soften all the settings, and she will soak up the little stuff real nice for us average riders. or just say eff it and run it as is.
thanks for the input budd.
