HBO's The Wire

Ive had the first season disk one on top of my Netflix list for weeks. Netflix shows very long wait.......

Do I need to start from the beginning to know wtf is going on? or can I start later in the series without problems?

Yep. I've posted here a couple of times to make people aware of how great a show it is. It seems that some people couldn't get past the realness of the show though. I'd say that it was one of the best shows on TV. Everything about it was excellent.

You don't have to start from the beginning, but it would help. Also, the series got better pretty much each season. Season was slow to develope and some people weren't to high on it because of that, but each season develops very slowly. Each week people couldn't wait to see what was going to drop next! To be honest with you this season (the last season) is probably the best, but when I think about it you can almost take your pick.
