2025 KTM85 sx Wheels and mods

Hi all,

I just purchased my son a 2025 KTM85 sx in big wheel. He currentley has a 2023 big wheel...

My question is will our SM Pro wheels fit the 2025 bike.... the axle size is different I think..... Would it just require spacers or a complete new wheel set?

Also we need to decide should we run the VHM 12 deg piston and head or not that we have in the 2023 bike...

So i got this from the SM Pro off rd manager.... Pretty average that KTM dont tell the dealers this stuff!!!

 

Hi bud 

 

I am sorry but the rear wheel has changed again on the 85. 

 

The brake disc face to sprocket  face is narrower by 2mm. You have to take 2mm off the disc face. 

 

People have done this themselves but we do not recommend it.

 

We will have the hubs in production very soon

 Im having the same issue and the spacers for the new wheels don"t fit in the old hub. I  have a few older sets of wheels i was hoping to swap over  i hope someone has a work around

Nihilo makes an adapter to use old wheels, tight fit, but it works
